Day 39 - NEC Rounded Monitor
Barely a month ago I picked up a new monitor from Apple for nearly $8k. Its for sale. Time to replace it with this Bad Boy! Whew
It’s got a real fancy name: CRVD-42DWX (not sure what that means, exactly).
It has a bunch of specs that mean things to the serious tech geeks. I just know its better and I want it.
Apparently it looks like a flatscreen from the front, but its a projection based display with over a 15″ dip in the center.
And, I can add a full range of speakers to go with it, and, I’ll probably need a new house to put it in. Definitely a new desk. But I’m getting ahead of myself.
New speakers: I’m picking up a set of Bolzano Villetri surround 5.1 speaker system. This set is $22,500.
I’ve still got the processor I picked up earlier in the Game. Now hooked up to this new system, the living room sounds more like a roller coaster than ever before. Its amazing.
All that paid for leaves me a ton of money to pick up a an Xbox 360 with a Blu-Ray extension to be ready for Project Natal when it becomes available “someday”.
$500 more than covers the gear.
And the remainder replaces all the movie titles I have and want with more than enough new footage to keep me stuck in front of the TV for eleven years without moving. So, When I finally am ready to move, I’ll have the system that supports Natal. So I’ll never have to leave my living room ever again.
Why build jails or office buildings when people will only commit creative cyber-actions and never leave their homes?
Did I just get philosophical?
Here’s an amazing demonstration of the Natal technology. Still in its infancy, believe it or not.
Amazing, no?
Now, who want’s to party at my house?
(once I get a bigger house)

That Project Natal is soooooo cool!!! The monitor is not bad either, but seeing it reminded me of something I wanted to purchase for the game and had forgotten about
