Day 53 - Music Collection
I like music.
I always have.
I’ve had large collections at times in my life.
And, my current collection is the smallest its ever been. It’s crazy.
The party the other night helped me remember how good it feels to be in a perfectly tuned sound system with thick bass punching at your chest.
Now that I have this fierce sound system, I’m ready to replace, renew and restore all my favorite collectibles that have been misplaced over the years. Just need to make a list of what’s rare, wonderful and hard to find, and attach it to this here page.

- This, Only BETTER!

Some parts of this Game are like grieving. Its weird how surrendering to the idea of having more sometimes feels like letting go along the way.
Let’s see, financially, the break down will be:
- $15,000 for custom hand-built storage and an environment control system to make sure all the analog devices are properly kept.
- $25,000 for all my favorite old records (and CD’s where necessary). And now that everyone is getting rid of their old vinyl, it won’t take long to build a giant collection of amazing first editions and rare pressings.
- $13,000 for digital files (WAV or ASCII) of recordings that simply cannot be obtained in any other form.
And that’s what we’re doing! Simple, fun, easy!
